What happens if my rental vehicle breaks down?
We will either send a mobile mechanic or back-up vehicle or both.

 

Do you want any money up-front?

We require a $200 deposit to secure reservations. This will be forfeited if renter cancels the reservation within seven days of rental period start date. This security deposit is not applied toward the cost of the rental. Instead, the deposit is held in case the vehicle is not returned in the same condition that it was rented out (in good mechanical and same body condition, and with a full tank). Vehicles returned with excessive dirt will also incur a surcharge. If all conditions are met, security deposit will be returned within 10 days of vehicle return. Please note, if you have been rough on the vehicle, additional charges may apply in excess of the security deposit. Please, please don’t be rough on our vehicles.

 

What if I don’t have full coverage US based insurance?
No problem but you will be required to buy insurance from www.protectmybubble.com for the length of your stay. Since Protect My Bubble does not protect foreigners, we require anyone without this coverage to purchase Fun Cars’ liability insurance ($20/day) and sign Fun Cars’ loss damage waiver.


What if I want to stay longer?

You are welcome to extend the rental period if your vehicle if it is available but you will need to provide payment to us in advance of the extended rental period.

 

Is there a minimum rental period?

No.

What is the duration of my rental?

You can determine the length of your trip by using this duration calculator. Please remember, any period of time over 24 hours incurs a daily charge.

Do you have an age minimum? 

Yes, you must be 25 years old to rent a car from us. Hertz rents to persons younger than 25 for a surcharge.
